Can using herbs for menopause relief work better than prescribed drugs or estrogen replacement? Soy, beans and other legumes have phytoestrogens which are milder than the estrogen our body produces. Black Cohosh is reputed to relieve cramps as well as hot flashes and has long been used for all problems relating to the uterus.

Most herbs are not harmful if you follow dosage instructions. Of course you should talk to your doctor before taking any new supplements to make sure it won’t react with any medications you are on.
